Who are we?
We are ProductGuard - a trading style of Hill Finance, who are directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
What does this mean? Well, it means that we conduct our business in line with the rules and regulations implemented by the Financial Conduct Authority. It also means that all of our customers have peace of mind knowing that they are covered by a company operating within the current insurance laws of the United Kingdom. Our customers are also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Every one of our policies is underwritten by Acasta European Insurance Company Limited, which is a legal requirement when selling insurance within the United Kingdom. Our customers often mention that they have been offered 'insurance' policies from other companies who are not regulated and claim to be offering a 'service plan'. Despite what they say, all insurance policies need to be underwritten and all companies providing these policies need to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. If it seems too good to be true - it probably is!

We believe that customer service is the backbone of any successful business. That's why we dedicate so much of our time and resource to ensure that every customer experience is the best it could possibly be. We understand that when you need to make a claim it should be a straight forward, efficient and stress-free journey. We believe that we have one of the best claims procedures in the industry, just ask one of our customers!
We also understand the importance of communication and transparency. We were the first insurance company to implement a secondary quality assurance call, conducted by a dedicated quality assurance department, before any payment is processed. This two-step verification process allows us to identify any issues with the sale before activating the policy.
Although we are enormously proud of our internal procedures and the positive results they have gained over the years, we understand that mistakes can still happen when human intervention is required. We are committed to resolving all customer queries or issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
